Of course there have been several moments where I didn't fully trust Ethan. Our early phase of getting to know each other was... difficult. When he noticed during my childhood that I was being surveilled by Garlean soldiers, and some even attempted to attack and kill me, albeit unsuccessfully – because he teleported to my side immediately to protect me – he later came up with the glorious/stupid idea of confronting Solus, who at that time should have been "dead", but Ethan knew the truth from the beginning, from wherever it may be. I still don't know what they talked about, probably about me. The attacks ceased, but I was kept under even stricter surveillance. Living like that is far from pleasant, believe me. And as I grew older and became good in fighting, I fled from the Garlean Empire and started my own little rebellion.
